The fifth "World Dwarf Games" will take place in Belfast during the months of July and August, after the city won the rights to host the games after they fought off competition from all over the world.
The games will begin with the opening ceremony on July 26, after all the competitors in this years games register. The games themselves will comprise of over 35 sports spread across a multitude of ages, ranging from under 10 swimming to veteran class soccer.

Blind Paralympian Wins 100m & 200m Double, In Soccer Malone Stays Expelled...
Jason Smyth pulled of a remarkable double at the Paralympic Games in Beijing today. After winning gold in the 100m, Smyth completed his double by winning the 200m in a new world record time of 21.43 seconds.

Awesome Kenenisa Bekele Wins 5000m and 10,000m at Olympics 2008
Kenenisa Bekele added 5000m gold to his 10000m gold in an incredible run at The Bird's Nest Stadium in the Beijing Olympics tonight. He is the first athlete since the legendary Yifter the Shifter won both golds in 1980.
